knitting while reading and listening to the news

A relative and her twin sister were pregnant this summer. One hatched in early September, her twin 2 weeks later. I've knitted 2 baby sweaters 3-6 months size, & sent them, but the elder baby now weighs 3 times as much as his cousin & has, I assume, outgrown his sweater. Since Wednesday I've done another sweater, planned to be size 6-9 months, but it looks much bigger. If it's too big for him, at least there is growing room! I have about half the last sleeve to go & expect to finish it tonight. It's raglan-sleeved, with sleeves knit on 4 double-pointed needles - I greatly do not enjoy sewing up seams & avoid whenever possible.
My reading output has slowed nearly to a stop, getting this done. I'm too much on edge waiting for resolution of the election situation and can't stop listening to PBS & NPR. Some of my family listens as devoutly to Fox as I listen to my stations, so zero conversation with them.
