Day 17

Friday, November 20, 2020

I'm finding myself frustrated that at this point, instead of losing weight, I'm actually gaining a little bit. I know this happens all the time, but somehow my brain can't accept that after a day of doing everything right, I managed to gain almost a pound. It feels like if I exercise more than usual and eat right, as well as drinking enough water, I should at least be the same weight, if not less. But, instead, I weigh more the next day.

I'm still working, and I'm still determined. But it does feel as though my goals and actions don't affect the reality of how much progress occurs. Sorry if this seems too negative.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great weekend!

I weigh everyday, too, and the scale goes up and down. Just think about it as trying to keep within 2 pounds of your lowest weight so that you don't start going up too much.
I don't think you sound negative at all. To me, you sound like you are trying to figure out what's going on so that you can get it straightened out. It does get frustrating every now and then, but you've got what it takes to keep pushing.
Best wishes! You can do it!

If you're weighing every day there's going to be some natural variation! As long as the trend is downward you're doing well!

Sorry you did not lose. I get frustrated at times also, same thoughts, ate right, exercised every day. I think it is just the fact women have a harder time with losing weight. Just keep pushing toward your goal, you will get there. emoticon emoticon emoticon
