It gets easier---- but-- I never forget that one pet--- I always went out and found a new puppy --That helped me --but-- I have to say, the crying stopped --but--I still miss each dog that passed--- I still do, Jeff-- I try to tell myself that a dog's life span is so short and that perhaps it is to get me used to losing friends and family members now---but-- what the heck--It is still hard--- a new pet helps tho---never replaces that one dog--but it takes yer mind off that one dog-probably coz yu are so busy with the new pup---Hard eh Jeff?---- I would cry all the time--- was apologizing to people coz , as I told them--"Sorry, I lost my dog!"-Lynda 116 days ago
