I need a break

Tuesday, November 03, 2020

I am taking a break from SparkPeople. There is just too much going on in the country and in my family right now. My anxiety is sky high. I am having trouble sleeping. I am emotionally supporting my son and daughter in law who are going through difficult times with their daughter and now with her sister. I have another granddaughter who is struggling with virtual learning. Everyone in the family is stressed, so I am cutting back on all social media. I am sorry to let the Rowdy Rebels and the Phoenix team down, but I am removing myself from anything that causes stress due to not checking in and I know I am the one putting that pressure on me. My health and my family have to come first.

You will be missed, but you have to do what is right for you and your loved ones.

We appreciate you and your honesty. I truly understand how stressful this is. I am working from home and both of my boys are virtual learning too. It's hard on everyone. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Once a Rowdy Rebel, always a Rowdy Rebel. Be safe!

    Hello Beth,
I feel so sorry for you and what is happening with you. Prayers for you and your family as you live through these difficult times in your lives.

I have lived through some very upsetting and hard times and losses in my life. My faith has kept me strong to weather the storms and given me the strength to remember to take everything one day at a time. Strength will come to you as you need it. The words that kept me strong were (and still are):

    “Even this, too, shall pass.”

Everything in life is temporary. When we are in the middle of the serious problems and chaos, it is difficult to see that the situation will change and things will eventually get better. Stay strong as you deal with all your challenging problems. Be sure to take good care of yourself and get plenty of sleep and rest to keep yourself strong for both yourself and your family. We will miss you on the Rowdy Rebels Team! Hoping you can come back and be with us soon. You will be missed. Prayers & best wishes, my friend...

    Hugs, Marilyn

Totally get you...please do what you must to stsy on an even keel. Checking in here should not put pressure on you, but perhaps you can drop by just to see what’s up. Teams fo not appeal to me for this very reason. Do what helps you.
