Fun BMI visualizer!

Well lookie what I found on the internet. It is a BMI visualizer. You can give it your age, sex, height and weight and it will not only will it show you where you are on the "severely underweight to morbidly obese" scale, it gives you a computer model of what a body like might look like with your bmi. AND there is a slide bar so I could increase the bmi to what mine was in May (33 - pretty up there in the obese range) to now (27.5 - dead center of overweight) to my goal (23 - a healthy point in the "normal" range)
It is so interactive! It reminds me of paper dolls except you change its body, not its cloths.
So finding this I immediately slid the bar to the right to my start bmi and then s-l-o-w-l-y moved it left towards my current bmi. In those few seconds I saw all the effort and the challenges and weighing and logging and the miles in the forest and the sore ankles and the mini plateaus and amazing achievements of the last 5 months pass through my mind as the computer model morphed into where I am now. I was amazed at how much the model had changed. I've lost 35 pounds since May with another 25 to go. I kind of forgot to take before photos (early on commitment issues - I didn't want to jinx or disappoint myself) But this modeling hits home where I couldn't really "see" how much my body has changed just in the mirror. I knew I felt lighter, could run farther, felt calmer than I can remember, even that I am now wearing smaller pants. Heck, I even knew I had lost 6 inches off my waiste but I didn't really see it in the mirror. What a joyous and unexpected insight on a sunny Monday morning.
