Yeah a new month

Sunday, November 01, 2020

Our neighbor with covid died and her husband is 1 out of 4 from the same church in icu, so far the reported count is 78. My friend that fell and broke her hip who had to go to a rehab facility was told today they have a positive covid patient so she was tested today and was told she should get the results by Wednesday. Obviously it’s too risky for me to visit her with my dad’s broken ribs, and I’m really concerned for Tuesday and a day packed appointment with my mom taking her to the dentist, eye doctor, hearing aides, and mri. My daughters headache is finally better after a mild concussion and today we get asked when are we returning to in church services. Nothing against church, or those that do go in person but we don’t take any unnecessary chances. We’re content watching it on utube.

I watch church live on our church website. I agree, we do not take unnecessary risks either. emoticon

It sounds like you are making wise decisions. Found out today that kids are going fully virtual as there is a positive case for a bus driver and with contact tracing, too many contacts for them to run the buses. I haven't gone back to church although I want to. My son's is going and they are following very strict safety procedures, and it is a very small church (average attendance under 25 total for both 8 & 10 o'clock service. I will wait until I feel safe.

So glad your daughter's headache is better! emoticon

I'll return to emoticon when God tells me it's good to go. Attending thru Zoom, Skype or utube is safe and not sorry. Nothing stops me from praying.

emoticon Covid has touched close to home to many. Sorry you can't visit your friend in rehab. I have a friend in a rehab facility that doesn't allow visitors at this time so, I sent her flowers.

People can worship from anywhere, so no need for church. They just need to get those donation plates full again. Sorry to hear about your neighbor. Glad DD is better.

Church can and should be wherever you are, and with fellow believers. With Covid rampant and gaining momentum, it's wise to worship in place. So glad to hear the headache is better.

We enjoy worshipping on youtube, too. Those covid numbers are way too high! Be well!
