Tergiversate
Friday, October 30, 2020
Yep, it's a real word. It's used to mean 'desert, evade, dither or retreat'.
Comes from the Latin 'tergiversare' - to turn one's back; 'tergum' - the back.
I'm not going to do it. Tergiversate, that is.
I'm sticking like glue to my resolution to be a fitter, healthier person for my family, my lovely grandchildren, the kids I work with and especially for me.
No evading; no dithering; no retreating from the path to better health.
Here's to a positive November, One and all! :)
