Snow Hanging Around - 10-28-20

The snow isn't melting quite as quickly as expected!
Susan Bergeron found snow on the banks of the Yampa River, while Ollie Ballard bemoaned his hammock filled with snow and fog in the valley:
The folks at Ski Corp. are happy; Jeff Hall spotted the snow guns running, adding to the natural base of snow on Mt. Werner:
You would never believe we had green grass at our church just last week - our days of meeting outside on the lawn are over for this year at least!
The temperature is supposed to climb the remainder of this week, so I expect we'll be seeing the ground again soon. In fact, part of my front yard has already emerged where it gets a lot of mid-day sunshine.
Found out from DD last night that the 10-yr-old grandson will be moving back to on-line learning next week. The cases in the Denver area have spiked so drastically that they feel safer having the kids his age learning from home. He was bummed - since he doesn't have siblings, he really misses the opportunity to hang out with kids his age. My other grandsons in California at least have each other to play with (and aggravate). They are 7 and 4, so there are LOTS of opportunities for aggravation....
