Tough day
Monday, October 26, 2020
My body worked fine when I woke up and sewed the borders on the quilt but then after I ate lunch I got super tired and a bit shakey so it was time to give myself a rest. I slept for 4 hours. Odd for an afternoon nap. But here is the quilt waiting to be sandwiched with the batting and backing and quilted on tomorrow. It is a cutie and very very bright.
Enjoyed parts of my day at home. Even made baked chicken for dinner along with some rosemary potatoes. Will have my last banana for a bedtime snack. But I have no intention of going to town until at least Thurs. or Fri. Too much covid in the rural areas right now.
thank fulls
1. making really good progress on an important project
2. being able to just do what my body asks
3. changes in plans won't kill me
So I'll try to make phone calls tomorrow since I didn't get to them today. Maybe the thought of them didn't help how I felt today. I don't know. But whatever it was this afternoon is gone and I enjoyed my dinner with no problems. Too bad I can't concentrate the way I used to. I used to be able to sit at a sewing machine for hours and hours but the last couple of years it seems like an hour or two is my limit and then I need to change positions for a while.
