I'm Gonna Bust This Plateau Even if It Kills Me Day 1

Third months a charm? First month of my Plateau buster challenge I lost 7 pounds. Second month I lost 2 pounds. I have two more pounds to lose and I will hit my last recorded low weight. This time I'm going to do it even if it kills me (thus the title).

Today was a emotionally fraught day. A lot of the current stress of the times got to me today and it threw me for a bit of a loop. But I got the basics done. I ate mostly ok - in my calorie range and mostly in my bloodsugar range.

I did notice that I am finally sore in the right part of my butt! Before you think that I'm too weird for saying that, it is a win because my hamstring was doing the work that my glutes were supposed to be doing and this is part of what we've been working on in PT. So this is a good thing.

A generous contractor type guy from church is coming over tomorrow after church to help my husband with wiring the kitchen. This is such an answer to prayer. In preparation for him coming, my husband got the very last pieces of the ceiling down. And I helped him to carry four big sheets of sheetrock up the stairs. I got a workout doing that!

Bedtime bloodsugar level: 134. Which is a lot better than the two nights prior to this one. I did have my nighttime eggs. I just caved and had some pop chips with the eggs

Overall bloodsugars: 123 average bloodsugars . Highest reading was 152 because I had the leftover Thai chicken rice vermicelli salad from last night for dinner. Plus some chips. I really really should not eat chips. Lowest reading was 105.

How long did it take you to fall asleep last night? (This may be an estimate.) an hour and a half. I actually started to drift off earlier but my husband was up late studying and woke me up. Then I couldn't go to sleep for a while longer.

Quality of sleep: Fair. I had a lot of pain in my left leg again last night

How long did you sleep last night? Five hours 45 minutes
