A decent week. Need to fix the weekend. Weigh in and goals

This week went well for me. Being super busy but also focusing on my health for once on top of it has been rough. Each week, things have slowly been getting better. That first week was awful. Trying to stop bad habits has been really hard and almost painful. Even now, I continue to get hunger pangs pretty bad.

However, I noticed they are slowly getting less and less painful. The sugar headaches are going away too. It's amazing that the cravings do in fact go away. I know this, I've lost the weight twice now. There's always a point where it gets easier to eat less.

Yet every time I gain back the weight, I get back to a point where I give in to cravings and just let myself eat everything. I don't know if my stomach stretches out or what but I can't seem to get full on regular meals anymore.

Well now, after 3 weeks fighting my bad habits, I'm finally feeling like my stomach is shrinking again. I am able to eat a small morning meal with tea and feel good about it without my stomach growling and burning with hunger. It's a wonderful feeling!

It took drinking tea plus a small meal (2 eggs, sometimes less) plus tons of water to finally break the habit. I tried soup for breakfast at first but it left me starving. For some reason the other meal finally did it for me. I still miss coffee and have tried drinking it again, but I think my body is done with it. Every time I try, I feel awful for 2 hours afterwards until it's out of my system. I thought it was mental, but I can't say it's a coincidence. Even decaf gets me :(

I decided to write up a little goals list:

1. 1st 5 lbs lost: New winter jacket (to keep warm on walks/outdoor runs)

2. 10 lbs lost: Christmas outfit (if I make it before Xmas hopefully!)

3. 15 lbs lost: Cute new casual dress that I can wear around the house or dress up to go out.

4. 20 lbs lost: 2 new shirts!

5. 25 lbs lost: another new casual dress (I like dresses lol)

6. 30 lbs lost: 2 new shirts!

.....and more to come as I think of them.

Here are final rewards:

Goal weight: 2 new dresses, new swimsuit, 2 new jeans, to wear on my goal trip (hopefully traveling will be possible!)

family update: We are all doing well! My kids kept me up late last night playing. The 3 of them got into our sunglasses and I couldn't help but take a picture.



I'm not sure about trick or treating this year, but they do have costumes already. There are a few drive thru events that we'll definitely be doing. On Halloween, I'm thinking of setting up a really cool/creepy scavenger hunt and hiding candy. Then maybe drive around to see all the best decorate houses and finishing the night with movies, their favorite meal and telling stories!

They are very excited!




Speaking of weekends, I need to work on them. I lost only 1 lb this week and really want to lose 2-3 lbs a week if possible!
