Went out for breakfast.....big mistake!

I thought that when we went out this morning, that I was choosing a healthier, "less food" meal and that the calories wouldn't be that bad. Umm....right. I don't know the exact calorie count, but I added it to my tracker the best I could and I was floored. As I continued to add up my totals for the day, I watched the calories and fat and carbs go UP UP UP. But I didn't lie; I put it all on there! And when I was done, I saw that I had went over my daily calorie intake by 600 calories! And I didn't even eat lunch!!!!!
I have had this epiphany before (on this site) years ago. You truly never fully understand how many calories you eat if you don't track it. I've known this for a long time, but I suppose I forgot. The worse part is, my life is very hectic; I work 50+ hours a week; I have a decent commute, so that adds hours to my week, on top of long work hours. And quite frankly, there has been many weeks where I was just too tired to cook, and we went out. I am now feeling the consequences of that; I've gained TONS of weight and all my emergency lights are now madly blinking and I need some serious work to get back to where I need to be!
