Update on my harrowing experience this week and what it has taught me!

For those of you who don't know about it I ended up in the hospital for almost three days because of being out of breath and have a low hemoglobin count as well. How low! It was 5.1 low enough to jeopardize my health and life. I had to get 4 blood transfusions as well and have yet another egd on top of that. I was separated from my mom for that time and I was unable to read my Bible during that time but I was able to watch sermons on the tv through cable and that helped me a lot. However this is what I learned during that time; that life is a git to each one of us and in an instant we can be gone and our God will take us home. Also that life is never to be taken for granted since the Lord is the One who created us and also is our Undertaker which means He chooses when we go home. He also can choose to spare our lives and give us a second chance at life. He also knows when we are hurting so deeply that we are torn between leaving this world and going to the next that we cry in our inner selves to HIm NO, Lord I can 't go home because it would hurt my loved ones too much! Then upon hearing this He chooses to wait for the right time. It also gave me clarity and hope about my program of recovery now so that I don't make the same mistake twice. I was released yesterday afternoon and am glad to be home.
