Inspired by and emulating a Cloverleaf team mate, I am sharing one of my favourite poems by one of my favourite poets :)

Dreams by Langston Hughes

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

I learned this poem in high school but it took me a lifetime to really appreciate its truth and power.
