Eating Less, Walking More

I'm doing 3 simple things to change my life:
1. I eat my healthy foods first and a small treat (if I need it) after.
2. I always get in 11K steps every day.
3. I drink my 8-10 glasses of water every day.
Vegetables are at the foundation of my diet. I consistently learn something new about eating for good health. Currently, I'm reading Joel Furman's book Eat for Life. There are many great plans for protecting the body from disease through our diet. I consistently make small changes to my eating routine, but I''m not willing to make big changes without my doctor's input.
Personally, I am looking for the balance that I need in my diet and in my life.I have not seen a reversal of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) through the Keto diet, but I have been able to manage T2D successfully. I have seen people reverse T2D but do not have great health. I wonder if going to extremes will bring on a different problem.
My motto is to find the balance!
