My hobby is railroading. The first railroad to start construction in our county had a young man from England come and join in the construction in 1870. He wrote daily entries about their progress and what was happening. It had been in the Museum when the library shared the structures. When the Library moved to larger quarters, the original library was the oldest west of the Mississippi in one structure, several items disappeared. The librarian said her people were not involved but they did have a theft of over $29,000.00 over one day that screamed of inside deal. I believe the person or persons that take items from a museum should spend the rest of their life in prison, death by fire ants if railroad items are taken with amnesty if they give them to me.
