Murphy is still sticking around.

Well, here it is the middle point of the work week for most. But to us retired people it really is just another day. So nothing special going on here. Did have to help Larry this morning with a couple things. Well, first off I tried and made some Over Night Oatmeal, well, after putting it together last last, after I found a jar for it, and this morning was anxious to try it and added the craisins and the almonds and heat it, as I like my oatmeal hot, and added the milk and dived in with zealous, and OMG, it was spit out faster than it went in. YUCK, so picked out the craisins and almond and even the cats and Merlin turned up their noses. and looked at me as though to question my sanity. Question, what am I going to do with that large container of Plain Greek Yogurt? So breakfast was just a half serving of craisin and almonds, at least I could wash them off.
Well, that done I went outside to see how Larry was doing with the lawn mower, and hip hip hoorah, the charging worked and it will start and run. So then on to putting the hood back on it. Well, that didn't go so good. After reading the direction twice and coming in and got the new flash light, and reading the direction again we start to push and lift, and lift and push and all of a sudden it just about closed on its own. Still not to sure what we did. Well, at least we won't have to but another battery, and that was when hubby said that his watch quit working, and the last time he bought a battery for it the jewelry store owner said he would recommend a new watch next time as it really is about short. So guess Murphy is still hanging around as hubby next job was replacing the air filter in the tractor cab. Well, the first one went so easy and then the second one, now you would think they would be the same, but oh no, that would be to easy. Again this one is metric, and after a half hour he finally found what he needed and got that done. Right now he is napping, just wanting to hide his head. lol I really hope this week is over soon.
I really don't know what else can go wrong, but I really am a little gun shy to start anything, so very carefully touch the dishwasher button, as it has been acting up and not draining like it should, So have been babying it alone. The weather is wonder, only 71, and should go for a nice walk but fear I will trip over a pebble and hurt myself, we will see when I walk down and get the mail at the end of the driveway. Hope I entertained you, and you have Murphy at arm length. Linda
