10 years- new me

10 years ago I became a Spark people member. Within that first year I lost 95lbs along side my best friend. I was 25. Over the last 10 years I slowly gained back 60 lbs of that 90. I maintained for 4 years, ran a half marathon, then I got married and got a house and had a kid. My priorities and responsibilities changed, fitness and health slid to the side. My daughter is 2 years old and we're trying for another soon. I am sitting at pre-baby weight, but that's 267lbs. Today I ate well. I had half a bagel w cream cheese, banana and coffee w creamer for bfast. Lunch was the other half of a gigantic qdoba brisket bowl. Dinner was my husband's chilli w low fat garlic bread(so yum). I'm trying to break my tv/snack habit I've built over the course of CoVid. I was laid off for 5 months and that was an entirely different routine than ever before- being a stay at home mom. NOT FOR ME! I am 4.weeks deep into my new, challenging, busy, exciting job and finally feel comfortable enough to try a lifestyle change. My husband and I need to get healthy, we are far too obese and limited. That just really kills me thinking of the things we cannot show or do with our daughter. Screw that, I don't want that. I'm not going to make any grand goal statements, or theorize how I will lose the weight. I am going to take each day as it comes and work my hardest to stick to my calorie amount each day. plan for the indulgent days and make them remain special days, not special weekends or a trip back to my bast eating habits. I manage our household and the food that comes in it, this is my responsibility. I was going to workout tonight, but it got away from me. Also, wtf treadmills are sold out everywhere?! I need to buy one NOW!

Good for you! Pretty much all exercise equipment is low/out of stock everywhere!! I'd suggest YouTube exercise videos in the meantime! They can be super fun!
