Peanuts for the squirrel

Another episode of "my foreign wife".
I have a "pet" squirrel, well he lives on my yard some of the time. Last year I filled his feeder jar with peanuts a few times. He took the peanuts and beat a path through the slightly long grass doing that. Looking at that path I knew what he was doing. He "squirrelled" them away for winter, under the shed.
So I say to my foreign wife today ... I think I'll go buy some peanuts for the squirrel.
I love calling her my "foreign wife". I do that for two reasons. First she is a foreigner, she has only German citizenship, and we are living in Canada. But secondly, she says these crazy things, like a foreigner who doesn't understand things.
She said "What if he has a peanut allergy?"
Is that even possible?
