Lost weight during the move, but gained it back!

On July 31st we found out we could move into a renovated unit in the area in which we live. That meant, of course, having to pack up 8 years worth of stuff and moving it all one block!

We are so blessed by the people at our church who helped us pack and especially helped us move. We got it all moved in record time, and then had help cleaning up...and moving a few more things we forgot to pack! Unfortunately my Fitbit broke right before we moved; I would have loved to have seen how many steps I took that week! I know I lost three pounds--I would go from the time I got up until a very late lunch or dinner, drinking a lot of water and not having time for breakfast.

I'm pretty sure I gained it all back, though, now that we are, more or less, settled in. So it's time to get back in the saddle! We don't have Internet at home yet (long, sad story!) but I can check in while I am at church. I don't like to use up much data on my phone as we have a limited data plan.

Tomorrow, I will swallow my pride and get back on the scale. I need to recover some of my motivation to lose some weight before my doctor's appointment in November!

    You can do it. It is adjustment even if it is a short move, And it is awesome to have a church that is willing to help. emoticon
