I just turned 57. My skin is really showing signs of aging. My face still looks pretty good and my neck but my arms are dry and it seems like they are getting splotchy. I used to have freckles on my arms but now there are all these white spots instead. The dermatologist said that my skin looked normal. I do have mild psoriasis. I used to lotion my entire body every day but I must say I barely have the energy to shower anymore. I still lotion my face though and my neck.

I went to the store and bought 2 big bottes of my favorite lotion. I slathered myself up and felt so much younger all of a sudden. I am worth it. BTW my favorite lotion is St Ives. It is like 4 bucks at Wal Mart or 8 at CVS

I haven't used St. Ives in years, I'm going to look for it the next time I go to Rite Aid or Target. I do love the moisturizer I'm using now, Aveeno. leaves my skin soft and not greasy. Yes, you are definitely worth it! emoticon

Great that you are doing something about the skin now. Later may be too late. I have very sensitive skin and have to careful with products that have a lot of floral scents. See a dermatologist was a wise move also. emoticon

I am really good about slathering on the lotion in the winter, but not so good in the summer. In the winter my eczema gets bad and I had to do something about it.
