Getting back on track with eating

I am finally getting back on track with my eating plan. I was so far off course that I was beginning to wonder if I would ever find my way back. I made a big salad yesterday and had some carrots with it. It has been a while since I ate raw food. Talk about energy ~ it gave me the boost I was looking for all day yesterday.

I think I learned my lesson and realize I need to include some raw foods as well as cooked. Plus, I did not have as much junk as I had in the past -- none left in the house and that is the way I want to keep it. If it ain't here, I cannot eat it.

    I try to have some soup and/or salad before eating our entree. If I can do both, it makes a big difference to my weight! High fiber is really a great thing for cholesterol, too.

    The best way is to take the unhealthy food out of the house!
    Eating healthy always makes us feel better. We just have to pay attention to our own body. emoticon

    Your so right, no junk food in the house yields progress staying on track. Now if I can remind myself that when at the store, but hubby likes snacks and can handle them.
