Well July has come and gone and August is half-way gone, too!
It has been a fun-filled, busy, enjoyable Summertime here … even though most of 2020 has been crazy times.
I've taken a ton of 3 day weekends and we've spent a lot of them at the beach and the park ... since there's not a lot of incentive to travel this year with the Virus.
The garden produced like mad this year. There’s lots of pickles, corn, string beans, peppers, tomatoes, and spices all put up for Fall and Winter. We had moved the garden into some new soil and used different fertilizer. And most of the Summer, my kitchen counter has looked like this …
Just this week – Finally – I could take a picture of my counter looking like this .... for the first time since the end of June.
I walked a total of 195 miles in July - 29 of the 31 days I hit 12K Steps or more.
I tracked my food and exercise all but 4 days in July.
I had only 6 days in June without Cardio ... so 25 out of 31 Cardio days is a pretty good ratio.
Besides the Standing Yoga and Morning Stretching … I added a 10 minute Kettlebell routine a few times a week.
I also continued tracking eliminating flour from my diet – but I was not as resolute in July .. as I was in June. I had some type of flour 13 days in July. So far in August, I’ve also had flour another 6 days. I have not gained anything back in my waist line …
Probably all the veggies with every meal have helped! But - I am anxious to get back on track. I find that I feel more bloated on days when I have flour. I'll continue tracking and improving.
We started making room for the pool in the yard. Brought in some sand and leveled the area. Unfortunately, the Hurricane and lots of rainy days have delayed getting this project finished. Hoping to have it up and done by the end of August. Maybe when I am on vacation the first full week of September, I can spend it in the pool.
