Waiting Long for a Simple Fix

The AT&T technician showed up at almost 6 pm. He went outside to check the connection coming into the house. It was broken and easily fixed. If only everything was this easy!
I was back at one doctor at 7:15 this morning for a test on my veins in my legs. I then went to my PCP to get results from all the other tests I took. It took them a while to realize that they did have my last report when I got blood drawn. My feet are still swollen - not quite as bad, but the swelling is up to my knees now. Heart trouble was ruled out. My liver numbers are elevated, but there's probably 5 or 6 reasons why. Having a Dad and a sister that had liver problems, the doctor said maybe it's something hereditary. This is the story of my life the last 10 years. I go through all sorts of tests that don't prove anything. Many times I get on the internet and find the cause - it's usually something to do with a medication I am on.
Poor Helena is really worried about me. She tells me that she doesn't want me to die. She must have told me a half dozen times today that she wishes that we still lived together. I guess she had a nightmare about me last night and Sherry ended up sleeping with her the rest of the night.
