Weighed in today and am + 1.5 lbs since last week. Bummer and I also know exactly why. I didn't lift weights this week, we had birthday leftovers in the house for a week, and even though I tracked all of it and stayed within calories, it's not always how much I eat, it's what I eat as well. Sugar and junk food inflame me and cause cravings. I am spending the weekend doing a gentle reset and getting my weights set up again for next week. I went for a 5-mile walk this morning, and have already had my 10 glasses of water. There is always next weeks weigh in!
In my family, we have 3 birthdays in 10 days, and although this year I was WAY more mindful than years past, it adds up, and my willpower was lower on the third birthday. I was less careful with my intake and tried to catch up with exercise. I KNOW this doesn't work and thank goodness this week is an anomaly food/celebration wise. Back on track for next week.
