Time is Short. Ezekiel 33:8,9. August 08 2020.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 28:18.
Have you ever given much thought to hell. In hell the lost will burn forever. They will find no relief from pain, no water to quench their thirst. Hell is total darkness, a bottomless pit, with Ng escape, and no hope. The fire is not quenched. So what are we doing to warn lost souls headed for eternity in hell?
Can we really sit back at ease when souls are headed to a place like that? Jesus tells us. “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” We need to be good examples in the way we act ,talk, and dress. Do what ever you can to get the message out. Be creative, and ask God to show you new ways to present the gospel.
Renew your vision, ask God to renew it for you. Ask Him to impress on you the urgency of the hour, the reality of danger, and a heart for people’s souls. Ask Him to fill you with His love, the kind that looks beyond the present easy moment, and sees the fast approaching day of eternity. We need the love that sees not just another figure, but an individual person with human thoughts, feelings, goals and trials. God has created this person and loves them. They are headed for one of two places, either heaven or hell.
We must have this kind of heart to share the love of Christ for them. We do not want to wish hell on anyone. Time is running out and today is the day of salvation.
4🙏Father, give us a heart for they lost. You have made it very clear that we will either spend eternity with you in heaven or we will suffer eternity in hell. You desire that all will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Make us your witnesses and give us a heart of love like yours. In Jesus’name I pray.
