Easy weeks and Hard weeks

The journey has easy weeks and hard weeks. Slenderella said she succeeded after she stopped quitting. She inspired me to find a way not to quit this time.
I’ve been on my journey since last October. Twice during that time, I thought about quitting. It was too hard. Life was too stressful, I wasn’t getting the results I expected and wanted.
Looking back, I’m so glad I didn’t quit. I learned that the amount of time I felt like quitting really wasn’t very long. Far less than a month. More like 2 weeks. If I had quit, we all know exactly what would have happened.
So how did I endure those days and not quit this time, you might wonder. I admitted to myself that I needed help. Previous journey attempts taught me that I couldn’t do this alone. I decided to ask Indygirl to be my coach. Talking with Beth helped me clarify and vent my feelings. That made me feel better. She is a great coach and she got me through those tough times. She helped me to find the courage to continue.
Beth always has great insights and suggestions. She explains things. She gives information. She listens. She shares her experience. Beth studied nutrition and the psychology of weight loss like it was a full time job. It’s like talking to an expert but an expert that has struggled just like we do. She wanted to lose weight because she didn’t like her life. If you don’t like your life, she can help you, too.
