July 2020 Stats

Saturday, August 01, 2020

This month was difficult for me. Between being sidelined with an ankle injury and struggling with my mental health, I didn't do as well as I would have hoped. At first I was bummed that I didn't reach any exercise or weight loss goals but I reframed my thinking. I still had overall improvements and that's nothing to sneeze at. I can only keep getting better.

I've made a conscious effort the past couple months to take my measurements. I've never done it in the past because, well, I didn't want to. It was something I didn't feel like was worth my time. I now realize I could not be more wrong. Despite my various struggles this month, it's nice to see that I still lost over 6 inches! It makes me feel good about my efforts and sets me up mentally for a successful August. Like I said, I can only keep getting better!

Have a wonderful day, Spark Friends! :)

Sometimes inches lost are more important than pounds lost. After all, muscle weighs more than fat, and it is always nice to feel that extra room in your clothes. Stay the course and you'll get there. Take care of yourself. emoticon emoticon
