Congratulations

Saturday, August 01, 2020

A Week now... seems congrats are in order, and why you ask, because I’ve been on Spark more than two weeks. The internet and wifi were down , for thr umpteenth time this year, so I was obliged to reload the app which ‘knew’ me. Good thing because it did not make me put in a new password. I’m running out of ideas. This site needs s serious adjustment, or is it only the mobile app. Would love to get feedback, I can’t be the only one. One serious concern...I like Spark, but I like my privacy even more. There will be no Facebook for me. Too full of holes for my liking ...so if push cones to shove... I will start over, somewhere else. Much as I love you all... I will not plunge into the swamp of a FB connection with Spark.

Thanks to you, I remembered how to dump FB. Now I need to dump other stuff that just takes up space

    HI GG,
Congratulations to you for being on Spark for more than two weeks! That’s just great with your internet and wifi down! My internet has been spotty too. Offline, online, offline, etc. That’s crazy, but I don’t give up. It’s a bit frustrating, but I keep on trying.

Well, I hope we don’t lose connection as I’ve enjoyed being your sparkfriend. Let me know if things change.

I love Spark but it is antiquated. The articles on front page are always SUPER dated. No updated goodies EVER. No block feature so I am forced to see total crap from lunatics on the community feed. No control over who can follow us as a friend unless we go private. No notifications for ANYTHING!
I have WAY more control over who I have to deal with on Facebook.....like the block feature (I adore it!). The unfollow feature, the snooze feature. There are post settings to determine who you wish to be your audience....all kinds of options that Spark does not have.
Spark was silent on BLM and also silent on Covid. They seem so hands off and out of touch.
I do use my Sparkpage as I see fit for ME and I WILL be posting MORE political stuff here when I feel compelled. emoticon
Good luck with the issues you’re having here. I mentioned my beefs above, but my Spark app on phone or ipad has never crashed nor has my Spark desk top.

I don't use a mobile app so It doesn't really pertain to me. I joined facebook sometime ago but really have no use for it! ...😜 ....For some reason I don't get any notifications anymore from sp....like if someone adds me for a friend or whatever! That is pretty annoying! Facebook turned me completely off and I am done with it because It didn't take long to get tired of all the ugly comments about politics!.... 😵 ....Occasionally I see some digs in various people's blogs in sparks, And I either don't respond or go read something else but if sparks ever becomes like facebook with a bunch of political stuff I'm gone! That's not what I joined for and I simply have no interest! I think there is a time in a place for everything But I joined sparks because of health and fitness, nothing more. 🙌

I use spark on my laptop only -- never any problems.
I tried the mobile app in 2018 for Mexico winter vacation, didn't work there -- glad I brought my Kindle Fire, so I could continue to login through their web browser.
Like you, I like my privacy, so I left facebook pretty soon after trying it out.

I don’t usually use the mobile app. I have not had trouble with the spark people site. I do use Facebook, but try to limit how much time I spend on it. I like keeping in touch with far off friends.

SP is getting more and more glitches! They don't seem to want to fix any of them. I'm one of those that no longer get any notifications.

I haven't touched FB in years and have no intention of going back..........even though our local neighbourhood watch has a private page for their use
