Live and In Person!

Well, finally *went* to the doctor. Except for being older than dirt, all is well. He says most of my aches and pains are age related, but that I'm in great shape for the most part. I can attest to drug shortages being real as they did not have my blood pressure meds available. After some phone dances with the doc and two pharmacies I discover it was a problem that wasn't a problem. I finally ran into a pharmacist who asked me if it was okay to just give me a larger pill and then cut them in half to reach my small dosage. Works for me... I even have a pill cutter. Wonder why the other six people I talked to didn't think of that?
I'm getting to be a real homebody, but it's only partly virus related since we live in a very low risk area. No, it's the incessant heat and the threat of power interruptions and collapse of the supply chain due to social unrest and disease that's got me hanging out in the house. I want to enjoy all the air conditioning I can before TSHTF. Our back yard and short neighborhood walks keep me supplied with photographic targets and between the stairs and my Gazelle Edge I get my steps every day. Resistance bands, dumbbells, and body weight exercise get me some mild strength training. I have somewhere around eight pounds to lose yet depending on whose scale I should believe, so I'm taking a maintenance break awaiting the inspiration that will get me motivated to do the rest. TTFN!
Bee safe everyone!
