Health Update

June 11 I went back to St. Vincent’s Hospital and had another heart cathe and had to have 2 more stents—I had 4 last November so am up to 6 stents now. One from November had closed up 99%. Today I saw my cardiologist and he told me he had not had one do that in over 3 years like that —I told him I was unique. Now if I have shortness of breath, I am to call and he will send me ASAP for another procedure. Also, I got the all clear to start exercising again and hopefully will be going back to cardio rehab within a week or two. I am still on break but wanted everyone to know that I am getting back on track slowly but more determined than ever. Hopefully getting on a regular schedule and doing my exercises again will improve my mental and physical being. I admit to being very social and between not feeling great, staying at home because of COVID19, being careful to not do anything to raise my heart rate is not fun to me. I am used to being in motion and getting 8,000 to over 10,000 steps a day. The past 2 months, rarely did I reach 6,000 steps and most days were under 3,000 or much less.
Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers. I know they are what is keeping me sane and slightly positive. LOL.
