Fan Mail

Monday, July 06, 2020

I laughed when I opened my notification that WhiteCat sent me a virtual fan! Today just the thought came in handy. The humidity and still air says that summer has arrived!

After going back and forth to be part of this year's Summer Challenge, I signed up. A few days before the challenge was to start, I injured my back. I signed out of the challenge. It was for the best but I am happy to report that the chiropractor adjusted my back and I am feeling a 100% better. I really thought I was going to be babying my back for the rest of the summer.

So, I may not be part of the challenge but I am challenging myself. To get me moving outside, I take my camera and head out to the woods. When I am feeling up to taking on the heat, I am out taking down invasive species. On the 4th I managed to take down 50 saplings and loaded them in a four-wheeler to a ravine.

I am giving a cheer out to the Dawgs--my team to be. Hope that they are staying well and doing well.

Glad you're able to get out, but I agree with the warnings not to overdo! My brother just had knee replacement surgery, and he set himself back a little bit by being too eager with the exercising right after surgery. Slow and steady .........!

    Glad you liked the fan!
