For a good hour I've been up and about, letting the dogs out, doing dishes, arranging things in the kitchen and in the bedroom, sorting laundry and making a plan to get it done, which is harder than it sounds because 1. There's a washer but not a dryer in the house. 2. I can't lift anything heavier than 10 pounds for another month. My boyfriend works 65 hours a week, mostly on his feet, because he's half owner of an auto repair shop. He's busy, and he can't keep up with everything so I'm trying to help how I can. So my plan is to put the laundry in three separate baskets, four if they still seem too heavy, and carry them out to the car one by one, and then I'm dropping by the shop so the BF can take the clothes to the laundromat. The shop is only a few miles away, and I'm hoping to get three loads done this way, but two will be ok too. I have several hours to do this, and the morning's activities haven't exhausted me yet, so I'm hopeful I can do it.
I've been out of the hospital for two weeks now, and I really do feel like I'm getting better every day. Adding more iron to my diet seems to be working on the tiredness, and I even got the 8 hours of sleep last night that I've needed for ages. It feels so good to be rested and to have a little bit of energy!
Tomorrow I'm hanging out with my mom and sister and her family until early afternoon, and then spending the rest of the day with my BF, and doing very little else. I hope everyone has a great Independence Day!
