Like any journey, this month had its highs and lows. This week I discovered why I couldn’t eat enough calories on a daily basis. My account was set to MALE.
That is a real game-changer. On a positive note, I have been eating to be satisfied and not to the caloric intake so I managed to continue to lose pounds because I never overate. Now, I did go over my calories for the first time yesterday but, that was a choice.
Sad eating is real for me. I could have walked away from that last snack and didn’t. I’m not upset but next time I’m going back to sleep. I woke up frustrated and trekked up stairs for an ice cream bar. Now, it was a healthy one but it sent me 100 calories over my goal. I also no I wasn’t hungry. Everyday isn’t rainbows and unicorns so, lessons learned.
Today I’m excited I tried a new standing yoga video with great music and a Shazzy Fitness Christian hip hop dance workout. I also kicked up my core workout a notch from 10 mins. to 20. I’m not strong enough to do all the twist and turns but I’m gonna keep at it.
I will set new goals, celebrate positive choices and reflect on the continued growth I want to make. I’m actually SITTING in my massage chair which I never stop to do. Bring on July baby (with yo girlie calorie range)
