Beginning of Success

I had my weekly weigh-in today - and I was down 1.4lbs! I think SparkPeople said that's 3.8 total from my initial weigh-in - I lost 2 from like 3/4 days of tracking and I was like hey no fair! Because that weigh-in was to start a 7 week challenge with some fellow old spark buddies and I was like, how dare you suddenly drop right before a challenge! Hahaha So silly. But I stayed on track with tracking and exercise and still saw some results. I wasn't sure I would, I took a peek on Saturday and it was exactly the same as last Monday, but I'm anticipating my cycle and my weight is always funny around then. So I was trying not to be discouraged, stayed strong through the weekend - even when I baked Snickerdoodles for Father's Day and he ordered in from a pizza place - I ordered salad! :O They were special salads, local greens with strawberry slices and goat cheese and toasted almonds, and a caprese. My body was just not feeling pizza! I'm proud of myself for not going wild on cookies and for listening to my body when the opportunity to eat "out" came. I gave myself a black eye a few days ago by bending into the corner of the towel rack in the bathroom when going to sit on the toilet. How glamorous an injury, right? Bathroom related, clumsy, AND face marring. So that is what you will see in my picture, along with my setup for yoga this morning in my kiddo's room. I let her use the tv and have the living room this time - it was fine! Here's to having another great week, preferably with no ridiculous injuries.
