"For The Bees"
Friday, June 12, 2020
Bees are becoming scarce these days...and they do so much for us.
No wonder we say "Busy As A Bee".
Bee houses (or bee hotels) are similar to bird houses, but instead of attracting birds,
they attract native solitary bee species. Unlike honey bees, these solitary bees are extremely
docile and up to three times more effective as pollinators.
No, you won’t get any honey, but you will enjoy better flowers, thriving plants,
and healthier vegetables in your garden!
Here's what we use to give the none 'hiving' bees a place to lay their egg.
The holes that are covered... are 'occupied' already.
You can also make simple ones by just drilling different size holes into a log and hang it up.
