6/3/2020 week 2 since horrible doctor's visit

Happy to say I have lost 2.5lbs.
I have kept my journal 13 days.
I have been sugar free 5 days
I have walked 218,366 steps =94 miles
and yes following Doctors advice step 3 mins in the morning and 3 mins at night.
My progress is slow but at least I am losing slowly. My legs are not crapping as much. I still get back spasms, but much less. I know it will be a long road up the hill to lose. I say to myself slow and steady. Slow and steady.
Everyday I hear the doctor's hurtful words in my head as I am walking around the track. As I lose I hope those words will fade. Writing down what I eat has be come very important. It is so easy to go over the calories. Just and extra hand of almonds is 200 calories. How easy the number goes up and up. And then the lbs go up and up.
Today I am going to call to see what my blood work results were. After 2 wks they should have the results. We will see.
