More Crabapple Blossoms - 6-1-20

They bloom so briefly, I think our crabapple blossoms deserve to be highlighted once more!
Jeff Hall got a photo of the white crabapple trees at Romick Arena (our rodeo grounds), and also a closeup of some white and pink blossoms:
Barbara Robinson found blooming crabapple with Emerald Mountain in the background:
As well as a closeup of those trees!
Cyndi Marlowe found a bike parked under the trees:
And enjoyed the same blooming crabapple at Romick Arena that Jeff Hall noticed:
But perhaps my favorite is this photo of Cyndi standing under the blooming crabapples on our main street through town, holding one of her beautiful photographs of the Yampa River and our mountain!
The hill behind my house is filled with blooming sarvisberry bushes right now, and off my deck I've got both sarvisberry, a lilac about to be in full bloom, and the final blossoms on a chokecherry tree. It is a RIOT of flowers around here right now.
Which reminds me....DH was walking our dog this morning when they encountered a bear in the neighborhood. Fortunately Zoey was on her leash, so even though her hackles went up and she gave out a low growl, the bear continued unconcerned through a neighbor's yard and out of sight. I imagine they'll enjoy it once these flowers turn into berries.....
