New objective

This is going to be a hard one. After sitting here in my house and only venturing out for supplies when I really needed them since March how do we learn to trust the outside world again. This is going to take some doing. I'm a bit nervous about even going to more than one store on my trips to town. Just get what I need and get out. I could easily turn into a hermit if there was someone that would just bring me the things I wanted.

Now that is just the scariest idea. I did get myself out of bed at a much more reasonable hour today and finished the masks. Send a text to have them picked up tomorrow. Finished off my pork steak and sweet potatoes today and even ate my melon. Still not real good yet this year. But it was fresh. I also watched the video for the next star. It came out this morning. This one will be easy.

thank fulls
1. being a crazy old lady
2. a dry day I even took out some of the flattened boxes that needed to go to recycling
3. Nature at it's best....even Buck didn't like the fat Bull snake in my yard.

I'll get those masks sorted and into the baggies so when they pick them up they know which ones are for who and then I'm going to make this months star. It really is an easy one. Then my afternoon job will be to figure out why my scrubbing thing won't charge. The vacuum works on that plug in why won't the scrubber. guess I'll need to do some research.

I am definitely not ready to go out every day yet. My medical history makes me high risk and my husband has even been doing the grocery shoppig for the last several weeks.

I'm with you - venturing out still doesn't feel quite safe, even though more things in our community are opening up. Our DD & 9-yr-old grandson were here this weekend (the first company we've had since this whole thing started), and I'm inclined to still stay in as much as possible for awhile to make sure I don't pass along anything from THEM. Although neither one was sick, it seems a significant percentage of folks don't have ANY symptoms, and I'd hate to inadvertently pass along a serious illness!

I just feel that some days you have to get out of the house. So off we got, but never for long. It is to the grocery store, or hardware store, or for a quick trip to buy some other thing I need, like the material store. I found out week before last the the Joanne's store was open the entire time that everything was mostly closed.
We did go over just to see if it was open that day, one of those quick drives. I did go in and purchase some things I wanted, but my goodness other things were bare shelves, so didn't get a few things I wanted. Now tomorrow we need to go pick up my Singer machine, as it is supposedly fixed.
I didn't sew today, but cut some more fabric so L can sew away once I sit down to sew.
It sure can be aggravating when an outlet works for one appliance, but not another. I had that happen to me, found out it wasn't the outlet, it was me. I had put my tracker in wrong, can't figure out how they make things that can mess you up.
Better go as got lots of my sparking to do yet tonight.

Yes, I was kind of hermit like before and now I am but I’m okay with that for now. I still feel safer at home and am blessed to have a husband who does our errands. It’ll be weird when I go out :(

Only part of our state is in Phase 2 of opening and our county isn't there yet. I'm not sure I will be ready to venture further that the acupuncturist, the grocery store, or the garden center. I have an appointment with my doctor at his office this week and that will be different going there.

Yes, everyone is going to start learning a new normal. I don't think we will be going back to what we had before the covid hit. Many others are feeling as you do including me. We don't plan on doing anymore shopping that we have been doing.
