Pray for Veterans.. every day.

Monday, May 25, 2020

Remember and/or thank a vet today. My Dad served in the Pacific Theater during WWII.

Today I ventured out to the store for produce and milk. I was the ONLY customer until I was ready to check out. Nice. They had about 90% of what I needed, so it was a great trip.

I have all of my used masks in a pillowcase in the washer right now. I will then iron them with steam to really sanitize them.

We uncovered our condenser unit for the A/C and have it turned on so it will kick in later when it is supposed to get up to 87 degrees. The humidity will go up to 92%, so we really appreciate it. We just pray that the power does not go out in the thunder/lightning storms.

Thanks for remembering. My father served in WWII in England. My husband served in Vietnam and died of Agent Orange poisoning a year and a half ago. They pay the price for years. I always speak to vets that I see and thank them. The Vietnam vets especially appreciate it.

I always thank a vet and remember them esp on Veteran's Day in Nov.
Memorial Day commemorates those who gave the ultimate sacrifice of their life.
I attempt to recognize their families also (as they live daily with the loss of one they loved so much!

Our county is really blossoming with C19, so I will not be venturing over there, I will drive the extra 10 miles to another town where their county is still at 2 cases. In 2 days we have gained over 150 cases, and more coming for sure. And I have to call our AC guy tomorrow and have ours checked out. I don't think it is working right.

I always thank our service men whether current or past. And John is a Viet Nam veteran and still talks often to the ones of his buddies that made it through and are still alive! Enjoy your day....I think it is going to be hot! emoticon
