I've been pretty motivated lately but it hasn't been showing on the scale. 2020 is almost half over now and I'm really not where I wanted to be at this point. But I realize I could've spent a lot more time focusing on health and fitness this year and from this point forward that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to commit to Sparking as much as I can and keep working towards my goals. Since I do have a lot of motivation right now, this should be easy for me.
Nutrition: Nutrition is going well in the sense that I'm eating lots of healthy food and getting more than 5 servings of fruits/veg. I'm getting plenty of protein and whole grains. But way too much sodium and sugars still. And still going way over my calorie allowance. So there's a lot to work on with nutrition still. I have to get in my calorie range first before I can work on lowering it. Here's my macros from yesterday:

Fitness: I haven't gotten any actual exercise lately but I have gotten a lot of steps in. I've been pretty consistently active this week. I'd go back to walking around the block if my knees and ankles weren't so bad. But here's my activity totals for the week.

Water: I'm going to start drinking water today and try to get in the habit again. I'm going to drink a glass with my pills this morning and go from there. It's always easy for me to drink water once I get into the habit again but I just have to get it off the ground.
Cigars: Smoking a bit more again, but it's the weekend so I allow it.
Meditation: Been too busy for meditation lately but going to try to get in at least one session today. Meditation always helps me with stress and anxiety so it's something I want to get back to doing.
Sleep: Still sleeping quite a bit. I had a long nap yesterday so I stayed up late tonight. Will probably take another nap sometime this morning.
Motivation: My biggest motivation right now is working my hardest to try to get the scale to move in the right direction again and start losing some of this weight. I have been trying to do this for a long time but I think I'm finally in a really good position to do it. So I'm working my hardest right now.
Non-Scale Victory: My NSV is that I am finally getting Fritzy to try fruits and vegetables. It was impossible before but he is finally getting excited about trying new foods. He has a ball going to the grocery store now and loves going through the produce section and looking at all the different fruits and vegetables. He helps me cook all the time and loves using our electric chopper.
