Week One is a Wrap!

Sunday, May 17, 2020

Well let’s say week one on this journey is done. This first part of the week was so miserable since my main goal was to kick my Dr.Pepper addiction to the curb. I really think warning labels need to be put on these drinks. They are addictive! The first three days between headaches and wanting to die prove my point. Wow! That being said I did my best to eat healthy and drink water 💦. By the end of the week I was feeling much better! I will say I tried a few new recipes out on my family for the most part were received well. Finally got some exercise in today and the whole family participated, which is huge! Week one is done. My scale shows 10 lbs down! 🙌🏻 Lol, I’m buying a new one tomorrow! I have trust issues! Quote I am living by “Nothing tastes as good as skinny/healthy is going to feel”

While every week won't be like that, your first was amazing. You accomplished something really worthwhile. Keep at it, your self-awareness will really help you.

Let's be optimistic and say that you lost 10 pounds. We always need to think positive. Dr. Peppers is my addiction also. I am having a really hard time kicking the habit. Up here, now the only DP we can get is DP123. I don't like them so this may be what gets me often. You see that I said may be. I really need to get off as I actually lose weight when I don't use them. Good luck to you. emoticon emoticon

So glad you got a return on your hard work! I quit coffee cold turkey once and the withdrawal is REAL. Felt like I had the flu for days, and swear the world was upside down. Way to go on week one keep it up!
