Goals & Gratitude 5/13/20

It must be Wednesday as I have been dragging all day today. I woke up a half hour late today and didn't have time to do Tai Chi before breakfast and work. My shoulder has been okay, but I think I will try to do it before bed to see if that makes me more comfortable for sleeping tonight. Work went by quite quickly as I had several long projects to work my way through, but after work I was just so tired! I laid down and fell asleep as soon as I got off and woke up not that long ago. I don't feel any better though-- still so tired. The coffee clearly did nothing today.

I wanted to tell you all that I did figure out my accounting homework the other night after all. I worked on it throughout the evening, and got some more here and some more there until I had a 98% on it. The last part I figured out after I went to bed. I was laying there and had some insight I guess and thought I would give my ideas a try and they were right. But forget about the tutoring! I just got done reviewing this week's homework. I worked on it a little today and will continue it over the next couple of days. Hopefully, if I have any questions, I can email them to my professor by Saturday evening. The homework isn't due until Monday evening so that gives her two days to get back to me. Most of this week's work is calculating people's taxes based on their pay and the IRS's pay tables as well as filling out W-2s and W-3s. Good thing I do some of that at work already.

Weight is holding steady at 189. Looking forward to dropping below that but so far haven't. Watching my sodium closely as I have noticed that high salt meals cause a definite weight gain for me. Doing well at the "No S" Diet though I'm still having cravings at night. But I'm not snacking (for the most part) or having dessert.

Today I'm Grateful For...
1) That the weather is so beautiful out (in the 70s).
2) That Cookie has stopped throwing up this week.
3) That I did get a nap in.
