Every day includes a lesson.... today's, for me, was that my 51 years of diabetes on my body cannot handle temps on either side.... Hot or cold!

Neighbor & I went walking and we got all turned around and ended way away from where we parked. Neither of us have any sense of direction and the map on my phone said to walk 2/10 of a mile and get on the bridge! well, there were 2 bridges and niether looked like they had a way to get up on them. so, we retraced our steps, but had already gone way out of the way so I gave out about a mile from the car! Luckily it was near the Y where there was a picnic table in a breezy spot! My neighbor (God bless Her) went and got the car and came back for me. I felt faint. I sure was glad to have water with me! I came home, stripped and layed udner the ceiling fan and fell asleep! LOL!

I find this all very discouraging. I used to love the heat! But, we were foolish to go out so late in the day. It got up to 88! We went out late because she went to a drive up service at her church and I watched mass on video this morning!

I guess I didnt learn much because after my nap I got up and did my scheduled workouts for the day! LOL! but, I did them moderately and in the AC!

Marty-- My apologies for not getting to your most recent message! Seems when I sit down at the computer I am doing some quick SP stuff or working and don't get over to my E-mail! But, I will catch up with you tomorrow!

OK, my tired old, no longer overheated body is going to bed! Be well!
