Reflections on Whining: I Can Do Hard Things
Sunday, May 03, 2020
I don’t like myself much when I whine, but I also feel like living with the corona virus restrictions is understandably whine-worthy.
I am not sick BUT I feel like I am living the life of a person with a chronic illness. Maybe the closest condition would be an autoimmune problem that makes a person allergic to so many things in the wider world that they need to stay sequestered to stay well?
So my whiney statement of the day is: this collective condition of ours is hard for me.
And that’s okay because I can do hard things. Not so whiney, and almost graceful?
Blessings to all of us struggling each day to be more graceful in living with the restrictions imposed by COVID19.
