Hello! I got some more sleep, so didn't get around to blogging yesterday but, I had a good day and stayed mostly on track with eating. I wore myself out on Tuesday with my workouts, so needed to take it easier yesterday & today!

today I got out for a walk in the warm sunshine! some of my SP Pals are dodging snow and it was in the mid 70s and sunny today! It was beautiful! and the walk made me pleasantly tired!

I keep forgetting to take my Vitamin D suppliment, so hopefully that sunshine helped a bit! I need to remember to use it! It is a liquid and I forget to sprinkle it on my food!

OK, this might sound weird, but I do all my thinking in the shower and today had me thinking about my dad. I was thinking that i was glad he is not currently in assisted living or Hospice where I couldn't visit him. Then, Kool & The Gang started singing "Get Down On It"! I'm not kidding.... Everytime my Dad would come out here to the pool and we had music playing that song would come on! I felt like it was a little musical hug from him!

Another reason I didn't make it on here yesterday was I talked to my nephew all afternoon! He wanted to quit his job. I told him to call his boss or go see him in person and thank him for all he has done for my nephew and that he hated to leave, but..... He tried calling and then texted that he got voice mail and wasn't prepared for that. I told him to call back and ask his boss to call as soon as he could. His, my nephew's, stepmom was yelling at him not to quit and this and that. I didn't want him to quit either, but figured he needs to learn lessons on his own. Well, the boss talked him into staying. I told him my belief that everything does happen for a reason. and, he was getting signs not to quit. Pretty sure I heard his eyes rolling in his head, but then he called again and told me about3 other signs he got that he thought were telling him not to quit! He has to figure it out on his own! So, he didn't quit and we spent the rest of the time talking about music, he sent me 2 snips of songs he's writing, Star Trek and how we both like it better than Star Wars, my parents and more! It was awsome!

OK, I've rambled on enough!!

*1* Long talks with Nephew and loving when he gets what I'm saying!
*2* Walking in sunshine! Now I've got the song Walking On Sunshine in my head and you probably do too! HeeHee!
*3* Love, life & laughter! Need I say more?
*4* Enjoyed some pigs in a blanket on pigs in a blanket day! Had a serving and a wonderful salad for dinner!
*5* Sassy & Hubby! Sassy really does want to protect us!

Hello Pack Pups!

Didn’t make it here yesterday! When I’m tired, I go to bed because my sleep has been so crazy!

Debbie—Here lately my sleep has been chemically induced too! While I don’t feel stressed, I know there is a lot on my mind regarding all the people doing worse than I in the world! And, you know a pain in your body, your finger, could hinder sleep too. Sometimes we have that low level pain and it keeps us awake!

Melissa—Oh, I know! Your Grandpap being at peace is good for him, but still so hard on you! My Grandpap was holding my hand at my brother’s funeral and he really hadn’t said anything to anyone and he squeezed my hand and said it just isn’t supposed to be this way. I knew what he meant! I’m glad you enjoy the jokes and quotes! And, nothing makes me happier than when one of my quotes touches someone! Big squishy hugs, safe ones, to you!

Cheri—I guess there is just not enough known about the virus to allow you outside. But, that seems weird to me!

I did go out today and walk! I walked 2 miles outdoors in the sun! I swear if we got snow in April I literally would curl up and cry! We rarely see snow at all and if we got it in April, well, I would be sure the world was ending!

Cheri, will have to chek out your Friday jokes!
