Sheltering in place

Monday, April 20, 2020

Well I am very glad that we are starting to see the end of this lock down.

i'm sure this has affected a lot of people in so many ways from lack of money to pay bills, put food on the table. Life events, lots of stressors through all of this. I pray that each of you can come out of this ok.

I am blessed to be retired, but my part time job shut down so that was a big loss of income for me. I just readjusted some things and short term will be ok. Long term things need to get reopened again SOON.

Whomever was responsible for letting this thing get out in the first place need to be held to account! From all the things I have been researching on line..... I think this is bigger than most people are aware of. Hopefully answers will come soon.

It is my sincere hope and prayers that people will emerge from this with a healthier perspective of the things that are REAL important in our lives, family, faith, friends that have helped us through with laughter, food, encouragement, maybe even help financially.
Those are the many blessings that we all sometime take for granted. Until we don't have them anymore......

I am thinking of all the people I care about and the struggles they have been going through during this time. THANKFUL they are still around to see another day and come out from this stronger on the other side.

Blessing to all. God is still in contol

    Well spoken. Couldn’t agree more.

We will probably never know the real truth behind this. But we will get through it, and thrive, once again

Being health compromised, and living in NJ, where it is BAD, I am not looking to come out of isolation for a while yet.

We are still supposed to stay home until some time in June. I wish this thing would go away and they would find a safe vaccine or treatment for when/if it rolls back around again.

I too am looking forward to people being allowed to go to work again so they can pay their bills and aren't forced into homelessness by their own government. I am glad you were able to adjust for the short term. 20 million people are already unemployed because of this shutdown. Reopening now and not waiting is critical. Being smart about reopening and taking proper precautions with sanitizing, staying home when sick, and following the 6 foot rule is all that will be needed to ensure people stay safe AND can earn a living again. It's time!

I'm happy to play it safe a little longer, I would hate for a second peak to rear its head and for us to lose too many more.

Accountability is key in my view. This pandemic reaches every corner of the globe.

I am willing to wait a while longer. I live in NY state, where there have been so many cases and so many deaths. Even though I live at the other end of the state from NYC, it is creeping into our community. If we reopen too soon I am afraid that so many more will die.
