Walks - What Would I Do Without Them?!

Sunday, April 19, 2020

I am so thankful that I live in a state with a governor that has the health and well being of so many people as his priority. Our current stay-at-home order runs through May 4th. The closing of schools has been hard for my kids that love to see their friends. The transition to online school hasn't been hard due to our district already having iPads for all students and having flexible learning days as a regular occurrence over the last few years. My husband is working from home. The one part of this stay-at-home order I never expected to be doing is grooming my dogs. Not an easy task when you have standard poodles - especially one pup who doesn't like to sit still for the groomer he normally sees and loves. Also I watched a bunch of youtube videos and cut both my kids' hair (my first time ever). They loved the results thank goodness.

Our two puppies are keeping us on our toes. It is important to get them out for their walks. These walks are what keep me in good spirits and healthy. Very thankful for the city, county and state parks in my area. They are such a blessing!
How are you all doing during this pandemic? Sending my love. emoticon

You have lovely dogs, we had a Poodle years ago, and they do need grooming. Of course they do need getting that grooming. Our dog we have now is a Shi tzu, and yup she needs grooming too.
It is so good to see a blog by you, I too don't do one often, but am do to do one soon.
Yes, I read the Minnesota news on my app. for channel 5 news, so have been following somewhat the news up there. Then too, both out children still live in Mn, so get some Mn. news through them also.
Yes, I believe that the kids are missing their friends, same here and they have already said the children will not be going back to school here in Tx. until the beginning of the next school year.
They even needed to put a memo out to say only 2 from a family can go to the grocery store together. The Mexican culture here is all the family goes together. So that has cut down on the traffic, we have also done some big grocery shopping on line, then go pick the groceries on a specific day and time. You don't need to go into the store, they bring it out and put in in your car.
Wishing you and your family stay safe and healthy through these trying times we have now.
