The Day After

My birthday was yesterday and I over did dinner last night.. started my new day at midnight tonight; so, I'm journalling about what I need to do today to keep going in the right direction. I'll start with a scripture..
John 15:4-5 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the Vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.
I might see a gain for a day or two; but, I am thankful I am not eating left overs ..

my darling husband will get cold pizza for a couple of meals while I make myself some protein fixes .. baked chicken breast in 1 & 2 oz servings is the best way to gain control for myself. I will allow myself a little whenever I feel hungry.. how do you regain control?
Oh, I'll also drink a lot of water...
