Quarantine weight

Sunday, April 12, 2020

Hi it’s been a long time since I’ve done a blog. I’ve been laid off from work due to the virus since March 16 and since then I’ve been eating whatever whenever no exercise and it’s showing. I’ve gained weight major inches I feel disgusting. My eating is absolutely out of control. I just started working out again this week after months of not doing it. I’ve been taking daily walks with my dogs and I get out of breath my lower back hurts when I walk which hasn’t happened in years. When did I stop caring?? How do I start to lose?? All I want to do is eat. I’m netflixing at least 8 hours a day.

I'm sorry that you got laid off. That must be very difficult. I'm glad the dogs are helping you get active again.
I hope you feel better soon

Sorry to hear you were laid off. It is hard when you have all day without the structure of having to go there. I'm still working, but from home, so the scale is slowing creeping back up. I told myself this morning that I will refocus - stop with all of the snacks, get up and move every hour or so, try to take a walk in the afternoon for a break and some fresh air, drink lots of water - every little bit you can do will get you closer to your goal.

Sometimes when I'm looking to get back into exercise, I will do a 15 minute Leslie Sansone or Jessica Smith workout each day. I feel better that I did something and it is a good place to start building up stamina.

Admitting it is s good step on the right direction. So now what? How about every time you think about eating when you shouldn't, drink some water. Then walk around the block. Try this tip. You can keep social distance when you do this!

You made a great start by walking, the eating will slow down. Hang in there.

Look at your getting back on track as your job. Your paycheck will be feeling better every day, the bonus will be losing the weight and when you do get back to work, you will be so proud of yourself. I know because I've had to do that to myself. emoticon

I am sorry to hear about being laid off. That is really tough. Tomorrow is a new day. You can start small-go for a short walk or start tracking food. You can do this and we are cheering you on!
